Family is extremely important to me and that’s what I love about starting these programs for the Sutherlin community. It has created a second family for kids to feel safe,
My name is Dessirae and I am the owner of Sutherlin Competitive Elite. On my free time I love to go to the coast and spend an abundance amount of time with my family. Family is extremely important to me and that’s what I love about starting these programs for the Sutherlin community. It has created a second family for kids to feel safe, loved and cared for. My #1 goal is to build confidence, character and motivation in our youth. It’s easy to loose site of these these things, so constant reminders of their value and acceptance is hugely important. I have years of dance experience as I taught at La Pine Academy of dance for many years. Prior to teaching I was on the Sweet Sensations jazz drill team for 17 years. I cheered all four years in high school and went to the University of Montana for Dance. I want nothing more than to share the same experiences I got to with as many kids as I can.

My name is Felicia. I love my family more than anything in the world. In my free time I enjoy camping, taking care of animals, and I am currently pursuing my degree in Criminal Justice. I enjoy coaching cheer because I get to be a part of seeing and helping kids grow and build their confidence and seeing them succeed after all the hard work they put in.

When I'm not coaching, I'm a dedicated mom, an active community member sitting on the SVR Board, Booster Club, and City Parks Committee. I am always striving to set an example of hard work and resilience. I am honored to help lead these young athletes on their journey and am excited about the incredible comp season ahead!
Shelby Level 2 Team Coach & Level 3 Team Assistant Coach
My name is Shelby. I am a mom to one sweet girl and she and my family are everything to me. I am also a registered nurse and I have my BLS and ACLS certifications. When I have free time I love to spend time with my family. My daughter has taken classes and cheered with SCE since Dessirae opened the studio. With her deep love of cheer, I have spent countless hours learning how to support her growth as an athlete. It is because of my daughter that I am helping out at SCE now. My hope is to help the kids at SCE progress as athletes and to watch their joy and confidence grow.
Shani Strength & Conditioning Coach
My name is Shani. I am an owner/ stylist at Walk In Haircuts, but my favorite job is being a mom of three amazing kids. I like to spend my free time hanging out with my family, we are all very close. My two girls have been with SCE since opening and are the reason I have grown a passion for cheer. I’m so excited to be part of shaping and molding these kids into wonderful cheerleaders and appreciate the opportunity to do so.

Val Miller Tumbling & Stunt Coach
Val brings his experience and passion for youth athletics from the football field to the cheer studio. As a dedicated youth football coach, he has a strong background in team building and fostering a positive environment for young athletes to grow. Now, he’s excited to extend his expertise to the cheer team, assisting with stunting and tumbling training. With a focus on safety, technique, and confidence, Val is committed to helping every athlete reach their full potential.
Fundraising Coordinator Lindsey
I'm Lindsey, I have been with SCE since the beginning and absolutely love our cheer family. I have taken on the roll of being SCE’s fundraising coordinator. I love fundraising for our cheer team. It’s such a rewarding experience to see the kids efforts come to life and support their team's goals. I enjoy organizing events, reaching out to the community, or coming up with creative ideas to raise funds. Being a part of the cheer team and contributing to our success is something I'm truly passionate about and I am so thankful for each and every parent who helps make our goal’s happen.
